

Brazilian Championship Regulations 2026
ORGANIZING AND REGULATORY COMMITTEE
The Organizing Committee of the event is composed of: Arthur, Leo Sauin, Nilso Souza.
Organization and Regulation of Races.
Personnel Involved

In addition to the Organizing Committee, the championship will include Timekeeper and Race Director Marcelo Camargo and Mr. Boon as timekeeper.

The driver, before starting activities on track, must:
2.1. Register and pay the entry fee;

Technical Inspection
3.1. Will be carried out at the end of each valid race, according to the order requested by the race director. It will also be conducted in case of protest by any participating driver.

Number of Participants
Each round will be limited to up to 22 cars per category, and registrations and payments must be completed at least 10 days in advance.

Driver Stand and Pit Position
5.1. The position on the driver stand will follow the order of the finals based on driver positions, with the pole position going up first and the others consecutively. Heats and semifinals are free choice.

Timing Sensors (Transponder)
6.1. It is the driver’s responsibility to install the sensor in a safe place with no aluminum/carbon parts between it and the track, as they reduce efficiency.
6.2. The race will only be stopped in case of a general system failure. Failures affecting up to 3 cars will not be considered a system problem and the race will be considered valid.
6.3. Personal sensor: The driver may install it anywhere on the car.
6.4. The timing team must test the transponders before the start and at the end of race day.

Location and date of the race
7.1. The tracks used in 2026, with the championship held in 2 rounds, will be in Gaspar-SC on May 1st, 2nd and 3rd and Vesúvio-SP on October 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

Additional Information and Scoring System.
There will be a maximum of 22 cars per category.
The event will always be held on Saturdays and Sundays.
If rain is forecast for Sunday and the weather is good on Saturday, the race will be anticipated and communicated in advance.
SCORING:
All 3 categories will use the same scoring system:
First place: 25 points
Second place: 22 points
Third place: 20 points
Fourth place: 18 points
Fifth place: 16 points
Sixth place: 14 points
Seventh place: 12 points
Eighth place: 8 points
Ninth place: 6 points
Tenth place: 4 points
Eleventh place: 2 points
Twelfth place: 1 point.

4 points for the driver who achieves pole position

2 points for the driver who achieves super pole

1 point for the driver who sets the fastest lap in the final
The driver who scores the highest number of points in their category across the two rounds will be the 2026 Brazilian Champion.
CATEGORY LIGHT:
Every year, drivers who wish to enter or remain in the Light or Super Light category will be evaluated, based on the technical criteria listed below, by the organizing committee in order to classify them into 2 groups aiming for balance.

The criteria will be as follows:

Experience in 1/5 and other categories;

Technical knowledge;

Driving level;

Classification in the previous year;

Classification by lap times for grid division to be defined by the race director
Light and Super Light will run separate heats and finals. Only if there is not enough grid, they may run together.
SCHEDULE.
SATURDAY:
TIMED FREE PRACTICE IN THE MORNING
11 to 17 – QUALIFYING HEATS.
There will be 3 qualifying heats, with a limit of 10 cars on track per group.
The PRO driver who achieves the best lap among the 3 heats will advance directly to the final.
PRO: From 2nd to 5th drivers with the best laps among the 3 heats will compete in the super pole, where each driver will have 5 minutes to set their best lap. The starting order will be descending from 5th to 2nd. The driver with the best time will qualify directly to the final in 2nd position.
Group classification for SEMI FINALS A or B will be based on the best lap times recorded in Saturday’s timed practice.
The order of heats will be intercalated so that drivers competing in Super Light and Pro have time for adjustments. The order will be:

Pro B (with Super Light drivers)

SUNDAY:
9:00 – Free practice separated by category
10:00 – Pro Semi Finals A and B
11:00 – Super Light Semi Finals (if applicable, same criteria as PRO except super pole)
13:00 – Light Final
14:00 – Super Light Final
15:00 – Pro Final
The starting order in the semi-finals will follow the fastest laps recorded in the 3 heats:
Semi A – 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 11th, 13th, 15th, 17th, 19th, 21st
Semi B – 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th, 14th, 16th, 18th, 20th, 22nd
The top 4 drivers from each semi-final advance to the final.
Drivers who do not qualify for the final will run a repechage for 2 spots.
Semi-finals will be 20 minutes without tank inspection
Light final will be 20 minutes and Super Light 25 minutes
Pro final will be 30 minutes with tank inspection

Same awards, with medals for all other participants who do not receive trophies.

Registrations and payments
Registrations must be completed and paid as informed in the CORRIDAS 1:5 group

Time request
A 10-minute time request may be made by any driver only in the semifinal and final, and only once in each stage.
The driver requesting time will start from the last position on the grid and their previous position will remain empty.

Technical Regulations for PRO and SUPER LIGHT (Light open)
12.1. Only engines up to 23cc, 2-stroke, up to 4 ports, without nitro or turbo are allowed;
12.1.2. An air filter must be present at the carburetor intake. The venturi may have a maximum diameter of 13mm.
12.2. Single-speed transmission only;
12.3. All types of exhaust pipes are allowed (observe noise limits), but must have a muffler;
12.4. All cars must have at least one working braking system and a clutch system capable of keeping the car stationary with the engine running without braking.
12.5. Bodies: Touring (Sedan, Coupe) or LMGT3 (Porsche, Corvette, Ferrari, etc.), 2 or 4 doors;
12.5.1. Prototype bodies are not allowed.
12.5.2. Bodies must be made of flexible material and properly painted. Windows must be transparent, semi-transparent or painted in contrasting colors.
12.5.3. Window rules apply depending on 2 or 4 doors. Front windshield may only have a minimal opening for antenna if necessary. Rear windshield may also be opened.
12.5.4. No internal aerodynamic modifications are allowed.
12.5.5. Rear wing:
Height: must not exceed roofline and max 60mm above trunk
Width: must not exceed body width
Single plane only
12.5.5.4. Front bumper must follow body contour and be made of foam, rubber or flexible plastic.
12.6. No part of the car may extend outside the body when viewed from above;
12.6.1. Exception for rear tires due to toe;
12.7. Receiver antenna must be flexible. No carbon, GRP, steel;
12.8. Minimum weight: 10kg; Maximum: 12kg;
12.9. Electronic gyros are not allowed;
12.10. Fuel tank max 700ml;
12.11. Only one engine and one chassis per driver during championship, subject to inspection and sealing rules;
12.12. Technical inspections may be performed at any time.

Fueling procedure for the final
The car must arrive with an empty tank.
700ml will be measured and filled under supervision.
Fueling order follows grid.
After fueling, cars remain in designated area without modification.
Violation leads to elimination.

Starting procedure
Warm-up starts 3 minutes before start.
Cars are called to grid 22 seconds before.
Formation lap is conducted.
After alignment, countdown begins.
Late cars start from last position.

Penalties
Warning, Drive-Thru, Stop and Go (10s), Disqualification and elimination.
Penalties are applied by the race director.
Mandatory yielding when being lapped.
Maximum of 4 Stop & Go penalties, the 5th results in elimination.
Track marshal duty
Drivers must serve or assign someone. Failure results in penalty.

Final considerations
This regulation applies to the Brazilian Championship.
All decisions by the Organizing Committee are final.
HEADSETS AND ANY BRAND/QUANTITY OF TIRES ARE ALLOWED.
